Holmes Chapel Parish Council are going to create a neighbourhood plan. This should enable the village to have a greater say on future developments that might affect it. Volunteers are needed to help with the formation of the plan. Residents should have received a green A6 sized booklet through their letterboxes. All the information is in there, including how you can get involved by completed the questionnaire on page 7 of the booklet.
There will also be public meetings, and the first one will be held on Wednesday 28th January 2015 in the Community Room at the Library. There will be two meetings – the first at 4pm – 5.30pm and the second at 7pm-8.30pm (to cater for people who can only make one time or the other – the content and format of the meetings will be the same so there’s no point in attending both).
More information can also be obtained from www.holmeschapelparishcouncil.gov.uk or by calling 01477 533934.
