I'm very keen to encourage new articles from local people for inclusion on the site.

If you are involved in a local community group, local politics, a local school or church, you run a local sports team or you're working on a particular event then please consider writing a short article for Holmeschapel.org.uk to tell other people about it.

How to add an article

Submitting an article to the site is very easy:

1. You need to register first of all if you haven't already (see the menu on the left in the middle of the page or click here to register).
2. Click on the "Articles and News" menu link on the top right and it will expand to show to show the option to Submit an article.
3. Click on that (or click the link above) and then follow the on-screen instructions to create and submit your article. If you need any help just drop me an email (see below).

Articles are moderated before being published so I can help with formatting and images if needed so there's no need to be nervous about posting something just because you're not sure about getting the formatting correct.  I will be trying to give some front page exposure to as many as I can, but even if an article is not on the front page, it will be findable both within the site and within Google and other search engines.If you have submitted an article and it doesn't seem to have appeared anywhere and you haven't heard anything from me within a week or so, feel free to prompt me by email!

Your business doesn't have to be IN Holmes Chapel to be included, you just have to be offering your goods or services to Holmes Chapel residents (for example, it you own a car dealership in Knutsford then you ought to be advertising here because there are thousands of potential customers in Holmes Chapel who want to buy from you - they just don't know where or who you are yet!)
